It is reported that Apple has started serving up iAd around the world. Developers had received ad requests from new global locations, though the service has only been available in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The report notes that Apple plans to open a new Manhattan office for the growing iAd team. Apple this summer was looking to hire staff for the “iAd Creative & Strategy team” based in New York City. Besides, Apple purchased Quattro Wireless in January. Both are in line with the global expansion of iAd.

According to the official iAd website, “iAd reaches millions of iPhone and iPod touch users around the world.” While this time additional revenue streams for developers and new audiences for advertisers will increase again because the copany is attend to extend the iAd service to iPad with the release of iOS 4.2 sometime this month.
