Last year, Apple rejected Google’s official Google Voice apps. While Google’s spokesperson told us that they would continue to bring their services to iPhone users. More than 14 months later, Apple finally accepted the apps GV Mobile + and GV Connect on Sunday. Thus Google’s own Google Voice apps is coming soon to the store.

Earlier this month, Sean Kovacs, the developer of GV Mobile +, indicated he had consulted with Apple. What’s more, in a letter to the FCC, Apple claimed that it was reviewing the official Google Voice application. The company said it had not outright rejected the software, but was instead considering it. Thus we can say that Google’s own Voice app is likely to be approved by Apple, if not this year, then early 2011.
