Posted: 07 Mar 2010 09:24 PM PST AdMob released its January 2010 Mobile Metrics Report, revealing a set of data about apps downloads for iPhone and iPod touch users, as well as users of Android and webOS handsets. Here are the results according to its graphics: * The download amount of iPod comes to the first among the four respondents. Besides, AdMob did statistics about other items of the users, including their gender, age and devices. It shows that 73% of Android users are male, compared to 58% of webOS users, 57% of iPhone users and 54% iPod touch users. The iPhone, iPod touch and webOS have similar gender distributions, with just over half of the users on all devices being male. The average age of an Android device user (35) is similar to an iPhone user (37) and that of a webOS device user (36). The average age of an iPod touch user is 23. |
